Combining the forces of agency creative, commercial production and post production, GENERATOR is a better, more efficient, direct-with client way to generate broadcast and digital video campaigns. This all came to be through the union of agency CCO Joe Burke (Marc USA, Element 79, DDB, FCB), and industry-leading commercial production and post house - ODDMACHINE. Joe’s three decades of experience taught him that the best work comes from the most collaborative and inclusive client relationships.
ODDMACHINE was founded in 2008 on that same principle—that collaboration between the disciplines of production and post, would create better work, putting more of the clients’ budget onscreen. GENERATOR is the natural evolution of that concept, adding creative concepting, copywriting and art direction to existing capabilities—with a streamlined working model that’s more collaborative and client-inclusive. In making our clients’ team part of our multi-discipline team in the writers’ room, GENERATOR eliminates unnecessary process, redundant agency roles, and costly second-guessing.
This all results in clients having greater control of their brands’ message and being faster to market with campaigns that are on-brand, on time and on budget.

900 N Franklin Street is home to our Post-Production facility. It houses three edit suites, a team of visual effects artists, a professional color-grading suite, and full audio recording and mixing capabilities. Our 30-node render farm can compute the most complex scenes and deliver them back in a fraction of the time.
Our Production Studio at 3144 W Carroll Ave, is a 10,000 sq ft loft that houses a white cyc, green screen cyc, stop motion animation studio, art department and kitchen for food prep and styling. Our studio is fully equipped with all the tools of the trade, from 4K HD camera packages to lighting and grip.
Located at 2443 N Naomi St, in Burbank, our Creative and Production Annex is complete with a full kitchen, private meeting spaces, as well as ample space for staging huge productions.
